Connect Make to Avis Boost
If your software is on Make, one scenario is enough: its starting module, then the HTTP module that sends the customer to your Avis Boost address.
What you need
- A Make account. The free plan has 1,000 credits per month, with a check at most every 15 minutes.
- Your software among the Make apps, with a module that gives the customer's mobile number or email.
- Your Avis Boost address: in your space, Account > Integrations.
When the text message goes
Without a visit date, the text message goes following the sending delay of your establishment. For an appointment, send its time in visit_at: the text message goes after the visit.
The steps
-
Step 1
Copy your Avis Boost address
In your Avis Boost space, open Account > Integrations, click "Get my address", then "Copy". Keep it to yourself: anyone who knows it can add contacts.
-
Step 2
Choose the starting module
In Make, create a scenario and add the module of your software that watches new appointments, orders or customers.
-
Step 3
Add the sending to Avis Boost
Add the "HTTP" module, "Make a request" action. Choose "No authentication", paste your Avis Boost address in "URL" and choose the "POST" method. In "Body content type", choose "application/x-www-form-urlencoded", then add one line per field of the table below.
-
Step 4
Test, then turn on
Click "Run once": the customer shows up in your Avis Boost contacts with the source "api". Then turn the scenario on with its switch, as a new scenario is inactive.

Write the field name exactly as on the left. A mobile number or an email is required, the rest is optional.

Good to know
Create my account- In the advanced settings of the HTTP module, turn on the error return when the request fails: you will see why a customer is refused.
- Each check of a starting module uses one credit: on the free plan, space the checks out to stay under 1,000 credits per month.
- Avis Boost answers "created" for a new customer, "existing" for a known one, and explains the error for an invalid or landline number.
